I went to the salon today and got Sarah to cut off 10 inches of my hair for locks of love. I love it, Sarah did such a great job-too bad it will only be for a few more weeks. I have read that you should cut it so it won't pull too much on the hair shaft and fall out quicker. So maybe I will get a little longer than a few weeks of what they have predicted.
I have felt really o.k. today after my first chemo treatment. I hope they will all be this easy. (wishful thinking). I have just been a little flushed in my face and neck today. They said that it is probably from the steroids.
I spent the day with my husband and kids and they have been wonderful to me. I love them all so much. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends. I know my latest blogs have been a little more depressing but I am truely grateful for my family, friends, and my faithful supporters. Thank you all so much, together with your support and prayers I know I can make it through this.

audra- i am ashamed of you. you better give corky credit for getting your hair off and he was even back there in the back trimming up your sprigs that were hanging around. i have to admit that i think i like your hair better this way. it looks very sophisticated. it is AWESOME AND SASSY. really- it is. sarah did a great job cleaning it up and styling it.

i love ya-

I wish I had some amazing words of strength and courage to impart. All I can honestly tell you..Is you have everything inside YOU. Prayer and positive thinking will beat this. You have alot of prayer and positive thinking coming from all directions. Please tell Corky to let us know when you or your family needs anything. Hey-Sorry I havn't been in touch. I usually get updates from Sarah. I never have time to get on the computer at home. I got this web address from Jada's facebook. Don't tell her, but I figured out her password (not hard)-guess she'll know when she reads this. I have to tell you that I think about you everyday. I hope you can feel all the love and the prayers from everyone that loves you. Your still on the prayer list at CI-you know that counts for extra upstairs!! Will I see you tomorrow?

Hi Audra,
Your new haircut looks beautiful! I am impressed by Corky's writing skills[tell him that since I majored in English and was a teacher so I tend to be very critical sometimes on writing!].I feel so positive for you and yesterday my Bible class and pastor said a special prayer for you.You must feel overwhelmed with all of the wonderful and uplifting comments from such a vast amount of friends and people who genuinely care for you and your family. I pray for you every day and many times I pray much more than once a day. I know this is a terrible experience but you will get through it with a renewed sense of your body and your faith.Sometimes I think God has us go through so much that we can't understand to get us where He wants us to be. I will write more soon. Remember how very much we all love you and your family! I will miss seeing you tomorrow but I know Sarah will take good care of Billy and me!

You look BEAUTIFUL!! You have such beauty about you and it is outer and inner. You are touching so many lives and I want you to know I am cheering for you everyday!!!(so many people are)Take it easy on yourself and learn how to say "no". When you need to rest-rest. People will understand. If you ever need us give us a call. If you need a few laughs tell Corky to bring you down here one night. You know George will make you laugh (hey and take you for a ride on the school bus;)
We love you!!!!!!!
